No Rainbows Without Rain – Hemp Sock
A beautiful hand dyed hank of variegated yarn in a tonal grey with mini rainbows. This gives small stripes of rainbows for a very happy cheerful project!
The striping/pooling depends on your amount of stitches and your gauge.
If you like the socks in the photos, check out the pattern I wrote for this yarn!
It's the Rainbow Bridges sock pattern, it's available here on Payhip and on Ravelry.
Hemp Sock is the new base, a no nylon sock yarn for those who wish to say goodbye to plastic in yarn! The hemp gives a nice look to the yarn, since it doesn't take up the dye as the wool. It is a more rustic kind of yarn and gives a great stitch definition when knit on a tight gauge. I recommend going down a needle size from your usual size for socks.
Colourful Hemp Sock
80% Superwash Wool – 20% Hemp
100 gram – 400 meter / 3.5oz – 437 yards
Yarn is superwash treated, so can be washed in the machine up to 30 degrees Celsius, though I recommend hand wash.
Due to the way this yarn is dyed, no 2 skeins are exactly the same. I highly recommend to alternate skeins when using more than 1 skein a project.
This listing is for 1 skein of yarn. Photo of multiple skeins shows comparison between yarn bases and/or skeins.
Colours may slightly vary on every monitor due to settings. This means that the colour may differ a little bit in real life from what you see on screen.
All my products come from a smoke free but cat friendly home. I have 2 cornish rex cats, so very short haired, that I try to keep away from my things but sometimes they sneak into my room…
