No Rainbows Without Rain – Merlino
A beautiful hand dyed hank of variegated yarn in a tonal grey with mini rainbows. This gives small stripes of rainbows for a very happy cheerful project!
The striping/pooling depends on your amount of stitches and your gauge.
If you like the socks in the photos, check out the pattern I wrote for this yarn!
It's the Rainbow Bridges sock pattern, it's available here on Payhip and on Ravelry.
Merlino is a plastic free sock yarn, which can be used for everything you want to knit! It's soft and has an amazing drape, knits up wonderfully and the best summer yarn. For socks I recommend going down a needle size so you get a nice firm gauge. The yarn is also really well suited for garments and shawls because of the drape.
80% Superwash Merino – 20% Linen
100 gram – 420 meter / 3.5oz – 459 yards
Yarn is superwash treated, so can be washed in the machine up to 30 degrees Celsius, though I recommend hand wash.
Due to the way this yarn is dyed, no 2 skeins are exactly the same. I highly recommend to alternate skeins when using more than 1 skein a project.
This listing is for 1 skein of yarn. Photo of multiple skeins shows comparison between yarn bases and/or skeins.
Colours may slightly vary on every monitor due to settings. This means that the colour may differ a little bit in real life from what you see on screen.
All my products come from a smoke free but cat friendly home. I have 2 cornish rex cats, so very short haired, that I try to keep away from my things but sometimes they sneak into my room…
